That is spam. Find a phone number for yahoo and call about it.

It is spam.



And you need to report it to yahoo ASAP.



Copy it & paste it into a new email & send to spoof@yahoo.com



then mark it as spam. If you have your preferences set to delete spam & block the sender every time, you should never receive it again.

i wouldn't fall for it. the prize page you put up there... it doesn't exist.

I think its spam. Does Yahoo know you have a paypal or another account like that? Probably not. I dont think anyone has heard of Yahoo randomly giving away money either.

That is definetly SPAM. You could forward a copy of the e-mail to Yahoo! and let their techs take a look at it.

Put your cursor over the link and see what the little info says. Many times the link will say www.yahoo.com...... but when you put your cursor over it, it shows where the link will actually take you. That could be sex sites, advertisements, etc.

I don't think it's legit, if you click on the link, this is what you get: "The page or community that you are seeking does not exist."

Honey! It's NOT LIGIT.! Yahoo! doesn't give out prizes. This way anyway. I placed a notice in here soon as it started to warn people..

It's used to get yourPersonal information ie. your name address bank account to send the bogus winnings etc. They then use it in ID theft and raid your bank accounts, ATM card number to purchase online and other similar things.You end up with a very large debt and no way of retrieving it.So click Spam and place the e-mail addy on that listing.

Good Luck do it ASAP.
