It really depends on the seller. If they're a legit business and will accept credit cards, you can pay them that way. You always run the risk of being scammed, so you have to determine the level of risk you're willing to take. Check their feedback ratings and make sure they have enough positive feedback.

Paypal is the safest way to use eBay because there are certain protection measures taken, and you can usually get your money back if they try to scam you. If your paypal acct has been closed, you should be able to open it again, or even just open a new one.

Saleh M,

What do you mean the "expiration" of your Paypal account?

The only safe way to pay is through Paypal with a a credit card.

I mean a Mastercard or Visa.

Discover and Am Ex. don't have the same protections as MC or Visa. In fact they stink at protecting their customers.

NEVER get scammed? I don't know about that, but there are precautions you can take to make it less likely. Only buy from sellers with good feedback. Never make off ebay deals. And keep in mind that if something looks too good to be true, it probably is.

Not many sellers are able to take a credit card without Pay Pal though, most just aren't set up to do that.
