I would like to set up a third merchant account with 2checkout for one of my clients. I would prefer to use my own bank account in the beginning until I am sure that everything is working properly, before changing the bank account details to my clients.



Does anyone have experience with this, or know if it is easy to do?

I work for 2Checkout.com. It is not hard to change the bank account details within an account and you may change the information as needed. It's a matter of login in, going to the "banking wizard" and entering new details. However, one of the things that you need to think about is signing up for the account. If you open the account and pay the $49 sign up fee with your information it will be your account. If your client will be the one using the account I advise that it be opened with their information. However, if you do use your information you will have to given the client access to the account by creating a second username and contacting us to give us permission to speak with them about the account.
