im kind of a misfit...im quiet, i have weird hair, im basically your emo outcast (even tough i hate that kind of stereotype) i dont want to change my style or anything, but i see myself slowly drifting away from everyone, my friends dont really talk to me much (except for a few) and well the truth of the matter is, boys are just not interested! dose anyone have advice?

flip it back around and be a lady.....emos, are going out of style for women,,,,be a trend setter,,, and you will catch the guys eyes,,,, many people are shying from emos that are straight as they do have a gay reputation

be who you are and if that person needs some time alone to figure out who you are then so be it.

Dont deliberately shut people out but if they are true friends they'll understand if you just need some time and maybe broaden your horizons a bit by trying to connect with people you feel you want to get to know on the internet or in your local town.

I was a complete rebel and a misfit, but I chose my friends carefully and the good ones stick around and are understading.

As for boys - there is nothing hotter than someone who knows their own mind and is her own person - you may feel your a misfit but in my opinion that just makes you stand out from the crowd!

Just be yourself and enjoy being young and you'll find the people you want to have around you will gravitate towards you anyway.

well..there's a way to change up your style a little bit without losing who you are. maybe a lot of people don't talk to you because they have a hard time identifying with the things that you are into? also, there's nothing wrong with change...you might discover you like a new look even better than the one you have now. as far as guys..you shouldn't change yourself to get a boyfriend, or a guy to like you. if you decide to change it should be because you WANT to. good luck to you...remember, change isn't bad, but don't lose yourself in the process.

O.k. this situation happened to me a little too. Find some friends that have your interests and For the boys try being a little more social. This happened to me and now my friends are awesome. And Boys like me and Im Punk/Emoish. Need anymore answers from me just contact me.
